Notice of a Public Hearing A Public Hearing will be conducted by the Town Council in the Town Courthouse, 100 Main, Round Top, Texas 78954, at 8:30 a.m., on October 30, 2017. The Public Hearing shall be conducted for the purpose of receiving public comments and testimony regarding the proposed adoption of a revised and updated Town of Round Top Land Use Ordinance regulating the following matters: providing for land use regulations; providing rules and regulations restricting the size, height, and density of buildings and other structures, the size of yards and other open spaces, the density of population, and the location and use of buildings, structures and land; providing for various land use districts; providing regulations for nonconforming uses; providing for the administration, enforcement, interpretation and amendment of the Land Use Ordinance; providing for a board of adjustment; providing definitions; providing for penalties for violation of the Land Use Ordinance; and providing for associated matters as authorized by the Constitution and laws of the State of Texas, including but not limited to Chapter 211, Texas Local Government Code. A copy of the revised and updated Land Use Ordinance in its entirety will be available at the Town of Round Top Business Office, 204A North Washington Street, Round Top, Texas 78954 during regular business hours. Additionally, the revised and updated Land Use Ordinance will be posted on the Town of Round Top website to allow public internet access to the revised and updated Land Use Ordinance. This public hearing is open to any interested person. Opinions, objections and/or comments relative to this matter may be expressed in writing or in person at the hearing. Dwight M.
