The Round Top Town Council has requested that the Architectural
Review Board conduct a review and update of the Land Use Ordinance that
was enacted in 2001 to guide the orderly and healthful development of
the city of Round Top.
Three public meetings have been held to obtain input and feedback
as we review the Land Use Ordinance (Dec 8th, Jan 22nd, and Mar 12). Additionally, a Merchants' Meeting was held February 15 to focus on items of interest to RT merchants.
A marked up version of the Ordinance, highlighting all proposed changes has been developed and submitted to Town Council. Over the next 4 months, the Council will review and vote on each proposed change in a series of public meeting. These meetings will be posted 72 hours in advance, consistent with the Texas Open Meetings Act. Citizens and stakeholders are encouraged to attend.
